It was with great pleasure that the Worshipful Master, Charity Steward and Cherise and Vincent Hart visited Oscars on September 30th.
We have not only presented them with £900 including provincial grant but we also gave them 72 Teddies from the TLC scheme.
Oscars charity is there to support children with brain tumors and their families. Minster lodge has managed to get the teddies included in the scheme as they will form part of the packs they provide to the siblings of poorly children who are usually equally traumatised.
Cherise and Vincent introduced Oscars to their Grandad after learning about it at school. This local charity set up in honour of Oscar has grown to provide help throughout the UK and receives no external funding.
Chris ( Charity Steward) has also introduced them to the Grand Charity and they will be applying for further grants of up to £15000 to assist with running costs.
